Truecaller has updated its app for iOS users to bring in new features like Smart Call History, Availability and built-in dialer. Also, Truecaller is set to unveil a new CallKit functionality for iOS 10, which will allow the app to work even more seamlessly with iPhone. The v7.0 is available on the App Store and Truecaller website for download.

The built-in dialer in Truecaller allows users to make calls directly with the app. The Smart Call History replaces unknown numbers with real names in user’s call history, even when a number is not saved on the smartphone. The Availability feature shows if a contact is free to talk by placing a green dot besides the name. The T9 search can be used to find friends quickly. Truecaller comes with a new design and app icon to help replace phone’s dialer with the one offered by Truecaller.

Truecaller had introduced Smart Call History feature and built-in dial pad for Android users earlier this year. Users can identify numbers before calling them. With the Smart Call History feature, users can copy numbers from anywhere on their phone, email, websites or social media; and Truecaller automatically searches for the number without opening the app.

The Truecaller Caller ID works offline too. This means that it will show caller information, even if the person had called in the past. Truecaller will show the Caller ID again even without an Internet connection. Truecaller, in February, announced ‘TrueSDK’ helps third party applications verify users via phone numbers.
