The Caribbean Premier League's (CPL)
Trinidad and Tobago franchise has
been renamed from Trinidad & Tobago
Red Steel to Trinbago Knight Riders.

Entertainment, the principal owner of
Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise
Kolkata Knight Riders, is also the co-
owner of the CPL team.
"It is a great honour to become part of
the rich cricketing tradition of Trinidad
& Tobago. We will do everything to
uphold the tradition and thank all the
people of Trinbago in advance for their
passion and support," he was quoted
as saying by PTI on Thursday
(February 11).
Trinidad and Tobago were the winners
of CPL 2015, when they beat Barbados
Tridents in the final played on their
