When Apple does something that’s against the trend, it sort of becomes the new trend. So when Apple launched the small iPhone SE amid the large Android smartphones, a company took notice and has followed the Cupertino giant.

Only thing is, it has taken the term ‘small’ a tad too seriously, and has launched an Android smartphone that can be considered microscopic by today’s standards. Enter Posh Mobile Micro X S240 — a smartphone with a 2.4-inch screen that even makes the iPhone SE look gigantic.

The Micro X S240 is as big as a credit card, and it is hard to imagine a smartphone this small, which works. But work it does, and a hands-on video by the folks at Unbox Therapy , actually shows the working phone. It runs on a customized Android-based operating system, and you should see the tiny keypad in action. You might however want to invest in smaller pair of prosthetic hands or chopsticks to actually type on it.

As for the specs, the Micro X S240 features a 2.4-inch display, a dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of storage. It also features a 2-megapixel rear camera, VGA selfie camera, a speaker at the back, mic at the front, removable 650mAh battery, and 4G support. The specs and features may seem ancient, but you didn’t really expect high-end specs, did you?

The smartphone is clearly not meant for everyone, and with its bright colors, it looks more like a toy to be honest. Moving past the novelty of such a small smartphone, the Micro X S240 could actually turn out to be a cool backup device. Our only issue is that we are so spoilt by large phones that we might end up misplacing it time and again. We might then have to place a call from our primary phone to locate it. It could also be a great gift for a kid waiting for his first phone, and at around $50 (Rs 3,300 approximately), it won’t set you back by a lot either.

The Posh Mobile Micro X S240 unboxing video follows below. To really get a perspective on how small this smartphone really is, check out its comparison with the massive Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
