Celebrating its 10th birthday, Flipkart is thanking its customers with, what it calls the biggest sale of the year. The Big 10 Sale, which will kick off on midnight of May 14, will continue for five days until May 18. And according to the e-commerce platform, what makes this particular sale stand apart, is the 10 Big benefits on offer for its customers, unlike normal sale events which only have discounts.

The sale is applicable for all categories from fashion to the latest smartphones, electronics, smart televisions, home decor and home appliances. Flipkart’s Big 10 sale will be accessible across the Flipkart website, mobile site, and app.

Flipkart Big 10 Sale: Samsung 32-Inch Basic Smart TV to Be Exclusively Launched at Rs. 29,999

Just ahead ahead of the Flipkart Big 10 Sale, the e-commerce site along with Samsung announced the launch of new smart TV from the South Korean consumer electronics giant. Called the Samsung 32-Inch Basic Smart TV, the television has been priced at Rs. 29,999 and will be exclusively available with Flipkart during the sale with an additional Rs. 1,000 discount.

The Samsung 32-Inch Basic Smart TV is part of the company's Make in India - Joy Connect series, and offers a full-HD resolution, Dolby Digital Plus audio, and Wide Colour Enhancer (Plus). Samsung is also touting other features of the 32-Inch Basic Smart TV, like Screen Mirroring to mirror the content from their smartphones, Bluetooth 2-Way Audio that allows users to utilise the TV as a Bluetooth speaker, and a "Smart Convergence" feature that allows users to share content (video/audio/ image) from their mobile phone to the TV, without an Internet connection. The Smart Share feature being touted enables users to share content wirelessly between their smartphones and USB devices via the TV.

Flipkart adds that customers will also be able to avail a Rs. 750 discount on Tata Sky DTH connection during the 5-day sale.

Flipkart Big 10 Sale Begins, Promises ‘Lowest Price Ever’ on iPhone 7

In the Amazon sale, iPhone 7 is available at Rs. 43,999, with additional exchange discount and cash back, but Flipkart promises to better the deal. While not mentioning the price explicitly, the e-commerce platform says it will offer “the lowest price ever” on the Apple flagship - so you are best advised to wait and see what Flipkart has to offer. Other Apple models, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 5s, will also be selling at “the deepest discounts” in the Flipkart sale. Google Pixel will also be selling at Rs. 34,999, down Rs. 22,001 from its launch price of Rs. 57,000. The “biggest” Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sale will be held on May 15, Monday as well, says Flipkart.
