Tata Indicom on Monday launched the ‘Simple is the Best’ postpaid plans for its subscribers in Delhi circle that offers upto 1500 minutes of local and STD talktime and 2 GB data at Rs 299.
The talktime is available for the first six months subsequent to which the voice benefit will be revised to 1000 minutes while the data benefit of 2GB will remain intact. Any extra data usage after 2GB will be charged at 15 paise per MB.
"We want to offer our subscribers greater benefits of voice and data at competitive prices through a simple product," Vijay Sehgal , Vice President – Consumer Business Operations said in a statement.
Post Pay subscribers will get voice rates for local calls at 30p and STD calls at 40p along with data benefits.
The move comes given the stiff competition posed by Reliance Jio 's extension of its free data and voice services till March 31, 2017 while incumbents have been trying to retain their market share.
