Tata Communications is taking the
guesswork out of using videoconferencing
with the latest version of its jamvee
Unified Communications (UC) platform
that allows enterprises and their partners
to conduct sessions via any combination
of audio, video or messaging and share
content in groups on any fixed or mobile
device or through a browser.
"It allows our customers or partners to
take part in meetings in whatever form
they want to--whether that's audio,
video, web, messaging--using the client of
their choice," said Anthony Bartolo, SVP,
Unified Communications and
Collaboration for Tata Communications,
in an interview with FierceTelecom. "It
has the widest interoperability of video
conferencing that's out there."
Bartolo added that a customer could take
any endpoint and "federate between the
enterprise islands and just like you and I
are conversing on an audio bridge, I
don't pay a second thought of what
device you're coming into the audio
bridge." Tata Communications enhances videoconferencing flexibility with new jamvee UC platform - FierceTelecom
