With the Galaxy Note 7 having been recalled not once but twice, we wouldn’t be surprised if many customers are having a hard time trusting Samsung again, or at least for the foreseeable future. In fact according to a recent survey, it was found that 40% of Samsung customers had no plans on buying from the company ever again

This is according to a survey conducted by Branding Brand in which they polled 1,020 customers from the US who had all owned Samsung phones The poll was also conducted between the 11-12th of October following the official discontinuation of the Note 7 and sought to get an idea of how the incident might affect future purchases

Like we said, the results showed that 40% of those surveyed would not purchase a Samsung phone again. This is actually an increase from the 34% from a previous survey conducted by the company, although we guess on the flipside you could say that 60% of Samsung’s customers will be sticking with the brand

Granted this is a relatively small sample and doesn’t speak for the rest of the world and other markets, but no doubt that is probably not good news for Samsung all the same. Samsung Mobile’s chief has since apologized for the incident and vowed to work to regain the trust of their customers. In the meantime Samsung is also offering customers incentives for sticking with the brand when they go in for an exchange, but what say you? Are you done with Samsung? Or do you think that this was a one-off incident that will probably never happen again
