friends, I have a 9 year old desktop PC (Windows 10). For this system I have BSNL broadband for the last 6+ years. Currently my plan is 499 (574 with tax), download speed is about 120 kbps only. I'm thinking to change it to Jio.
My PC have no bluetooth, the only possible connection is USB.
Please suggest me the options.
1. USB tethering from my phone
2. USB Dongle
or any other alternates.
If dongle, then suggest suitable one.
Thanks.

Many WiFi adapters available online bro.
Cost varies from Rs.300 to Rs.1000.

I'm not aware about adaptors. How to use it? Can you please explain a little?
What to search for when ordering online?

It acts as WiFi hotspot .. dongle turned to WiFi hotspot while we put electric charging :) ..

So I have to put it in my PC's USB port and connect wifi fro my mobile. Right?

No need to put in USB port .. Electric power is enough dongle to act as WiFi device :) ..

But how it'll work? How my PC can be connected?
Hope I'm not asking silly questions!

Bro better to use Wifi router, BSNL uses ADSL technology while private players like ACT, Spectranet, Airtel, Railwire uses WAN port for internet connection via Fiber Optic cable.

If you are moving to a private player, consider buying a Wifi router. It is available at lot cheaper costs now than 2005-08 time.

Some recommanded brands: D Link, TP Link, Net Gear.

No problem .. Put Bluetooth device in USB port on ur system then map ur system with WiFi device by using profile name .. Same procedure with ur mobile (by turn on ur bluetooth in ur mobile) :) ..
