If I can suggest, target for a AIO printer with ink tank. It will be a bit expensive, but will make sense for home use. The initial investment may be low in a cartridge based inkjet printer, but in the long run, you will spend a lot of money towards the cartridges. Having an All-In-One printer gives you scan capability as well. If not AIO, go for a single function ink tank one. Should start from ~7K roughly (please check the current prices).
