Private healthcare is slowly turning into scam in this country. If you really want proper care for serious patients (not in-clinic visits). Go to government hospitals like AIIMS or state affiliated medical colleges. Private players are even eyeing government hospitals. Many of which are runned in collaboration with private players who deliberately slow the process and tries to find unethical tactics to exhaust the 5 lakh limit of Ayushman card. Now imagine some poor going to any of this hospital. 7 lakh is the bill. 5 lakh is covered by government. Where is he supposed to get the rest of the money? I have seen tweets of people urging to get the money as hospital won't discharge the patient. It's disheartening to see where we are ending up as human. Meanwhile everyone should get a good health insurance. Even there you need to be careful specially when you are getting one for the whole family. Sometimes the company can deny to offer mediclaim for your kids.
 
One more thing i like to add bro currently ayushman card is for elderly people but what about people who are of young age but don't have funds for treatment aren't they deserve treatment
 
Healthcare just like Education sector is gradually becoming a scam business.You will be astonished to see the number of politicians getting involved into running hospitals because this is the new cash cow.In every super specialty hospital,doctors are given target for month and they are evaluated based on how much money they have brought for the hospital. Quality of doctors is diminishing day by day.

You can use ration cards atleast in my state, Assam. Family has to enrol your name here though.

We can use ration card but to make ration card you should have home with particular condition so according to them middle class people with their home don't deserve medical facilities this is the catch bro
