All India Football Federation (AIFF) and its marketing partners, Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), have shared the national football team’s yearly fixtures beginning March 2017 wherein the India National Team will play 15 competitive games including 8 matches in India (March 2017-March 2018). All the international fixtures will be broadcast live on Star Sports and its digital platform, Hotstar.
Having successfully broadcast many international footballing events and leagues, the Star Network are now set to wow India's sports fans with a world-class live television experience of its national team. Speaking on the development, a Star India Spokesperson said, “This is a huge step forward for us. Broadcasting the national fixtures is a significant addition to our line-up of football properties and validates our network as the premier destination for football fans.
