With the Android One launch imminent on September 15th after the cryptic invite , Indian tech site TechPP spotted Spice’s Android One phone listed on Flipkart. The Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498, quite a mouthful for a
phone name, was listed on Flipkart for Rs 6,999. Of course, the listing has now been taken off.

The Spice UNO Mi-498 will come with entry level specifications. The phone will be powered by a MediaTek SoC with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and Mali 400 GPU paired with 1GB of RAM. As Sundar Pichai had mentioned in the
Google Keynote, Android One phones will come with a dual-SIM
configuration. Spice UNO Mi-498 will be a dual-SIM.
On the screen front, you have a 4.5- inch screen with FWVGA (854 x 480 Pixels) IPS LCD display. The phone is expected to run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The rear camera will be a 5MP shooter complete with an LED flash unit
and ability to shoot full HD videos. The front camera is a 2MP one.
