The Japanese manufacturer has announced that the Xperia Z2 Tablet will be globally released in March 2014, however hasn't revealed the pricing of the device. The tablet will be available in two variants: Wi-Fi and LTE/3G.

The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is the successor to the Xperia Tablet Z, which was launched at MWC 2013. The Xperia Z2 Tablet runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

The Xperia Z2 Tablet features a 10.1-inch full-HD TRILUMINOS display for mobile with Live Colour LED powered by X-Reality. The tablet also features digital noise cancelling technology and is touted to be the 'world's slimmest' tablet at 6.4mm and lightest at 426 grams.

Sony just announced the Xperia Z2 flagship, a refinement of last year's Xperia Z1.
It has a 5.2" screen - a 1080p Triluminos IPS screen, with the same Bravia tech used in Sony's TV.
The 20.7MP camera has been updated with 4K video recording (at 30fps) and a number of new effects. The camera features the same 1/2.3" sensor with 27mm G Lens with f/2.0 aperture.
One of the new effects is Timeshift, which records 720p video at 720p. Another one is the Background defocus, yet another is a dedicated mode for Vines.
It's powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 801 chipset with four Krait 400 cores at 2.3GHz and 3GB RAM.
Despite the size increase, the new flagship is only a little taller and actually narrower and thinner. The battery capacity went up a tad to 3,200mAh, while the weight went down to 158g.
As before, the Xperia Z2 has an IP58 certification, allowing it to work under water.
