The Japan tech giant Sony is reportedly to hold a press event in Moscow on March 18. The Russian tech blog Hi-Tech Mail has received clues for such an event, which, as per rumors, would officially unveil Sony’s new flagship the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL and a range of other midrange phones in the country. Sony has not yet made an affirmation of the event, but referring to some sources, Hi-Tech Mail has almost confirmed it. It is indeed sensible that Sony would release a variety of devices for the Russian market in a special event.

Sony Xperia SP: This is going to turn out as one of cool midrange Android phones from the Japan firm. As per reports, it is to tout a strong Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960T dual core processor, clocked at 1.7GHz. It will be backed by first-class Adreno 320 graphical processor and it is to mount a 4.6-inch display of 720p resolution.
The SP will have an 8MP snapper that will show off an Exmor RS sensor for nice images and video. It is to have 8GB of internal memory with microSD slot for the expansion of memory. “The source also points out that the device will sport an LED strip at the bottom, which will notify you for missed and incoming calls, texts or email,” says GSMArena. It may run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, because, by its release, Google may start updating regular Android devices with the Android version.

Sony Xperia L: More than being a midrange phone, the Xperia L will be an entry level phone from Sony. Going though its specs, it forces us to say so. The Xperia L is to come with a 4.3-inch small screen that will pack a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It may draw its power from a dual core Snapdragon chipset that will run at 1GHz and it will be backed by Adreno 305 graphical processor.
The Xperia L may have an 8MP rear camera with Exmor RS sensor and other advanced camera features. There will be 8GB of internal storage, plus microSD for further expansion. A 1,700mAh battery may come inside the device that will enjoy the dimensions of 128.7 x 65 x 9.7mm. It is sure that the L will come with the most recent Android update.

Sony Xperia E: It will be one of the cheapest Android phones from Sony this year. The device is now apparently available for pre-order in markets like Indian and it may get its Russian version at the upcoming media event. The E and its dual SIM version are actually two interesting entry level phones from Sony.
It is to come up with a 3.5-inch touchscreen with a display resolution of 480 by 320 pixels. It is to come up with ICS out of the box, but will later get updated to the Jelly Bean. It is to be powered by a single-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. It will have a 3.2MP rear camera. Well, in many respects, it may resemble Xperia Tipo, the cheapest of the Xperia line as of now.
