Sony has officially introduced three new Android ICS based smartphone at IFA 2012 and these devices include the Xperia T, Xperia V and Xperia J. The Xperia T is the most capable amongst the three and apparently it is the company’s latest flagship Android smartphone.
Along with the Xperia T the company has unveiled its variants called the Xperia TX which will only retail in select markets. The Sony Xperia T is a device powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 Plus processor, and sports a 4.6-inch Reality display with Mobile BRAVIA engine. The device also sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording and a front facing camera capable of 720p video calling. It also includes One-touch connectivity via NFC. Sony has announced that the device will hits markets in coming weeks.
Next up is the Sony Xperia V which sports a slightly smaller 4.3-inch display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, includes ClearAudio+ for better audio output, same processor as the Xperia T, 1GB of RAM, 13 megapixel camera, front facing camera and NFC capability. Furthermore, the Xperia V features the highest levels of dust and water resistance in a smartphone with IPS5/57+ certification. This device will hit markets sometime later in Q4 2012.
Finally, the Sony Xperia J which is the most affordable of the bunch. The device is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A processor, 512MB of RAM, 4-inch SWVGA display with Gorilla Glass protection, 5 megapixel camera, a front facing camera and all the general connectivity options. The device will hit markets in Q4 2012.
