My Daughter is going tu buy a smartphone.. now she have Vivo Y93...need some suggestions to choose from these 2 phones only...

If she already have A vivo smartphone than better to go for Z1 pro it has good battery life my friend has one .. But Realme 5 Pro will be better option new design better camera , better processor . I only suggested Z1pro as she already using a Vivo smartphone so it'll be similar in UI n OS to her

Go for Vivo Z1 Pro, you will get new punch hole display, bigger battery & screen and a better front camera.

Realme 5 Pro only has better rear camera and USB Type-C. Everything else is similar in both phones.

Disagreed. One of the main things needed in a ₹15k+ phone in 2019 is a USB C port. Vivo purposely not going for it makes me not recommend this phone at all..

I'm never recommending Vivo Z1 Pro, just because it doesn't have USB C port.

Then given your budget, It's a tough one between Redmi Note 7 Pro and Realme 5 Pro TBH. While I personally haven't tested the cameras on 5Pro, the software experience on miui is better than the coloros of Realme. Maybe Poco F1 too, if there are discounts. That's a steal.

I don't know much about Nokia 6.2, but 7.2 will have better cameras than the 6.1 plus, whose camera is quite similar to the 7+ (phone I use). The only thing that might bog that down will be the processor, if it launches with 660.

Further, if you're buying a smartphone now, don't hesitate in going for the 6/8 GB variant. Apps in the future will force more ram consumption. I'm an app developer myself and have witnessed the shift in strategy by app developers targeting more processing power.

This one goes to Apple. They have full control of the hardware and software stack. Then comes Google for me, followed by Samsung.

If the reports of harmony os coming with Huawei phones turns out to be true, it might challenge the incumbents here.

Will I be needing a 6/8 GB ram phone if I only use my phone for social media and streaming youtube videos?
