Don't buy any Mi phone with 3gb ram. Their miui is very ram heavy get atleast 4gb version. It will be better in long run.

Am fully agree ...miui is heavy ram eater...and i use mi note 7 for 1 month and then replace it with real me ...mi is worst for user experience too much ads spoil all fun and mi phones are not good for long run..i ll better suggest you to buy real me 3...best smartphone in this price range with powerful processor, stylish look and best battery life

After removing. When I have 7-8 apps removed. I always have 1.4 GB ram left.

It does not work like this...then what is reason behind Making 8 gb , 10 gb phones?? Its true whatever heavy apps you use it will be difficult to consume even 1 gb ram..but more ram is free more your smartphone will run smooth...but in fact truely saying i believe there is no reason for buying 4gb ,6gb ram smartphones even 2gb,3gb ram is enough for heavy use too for normal user...what matter most is processor...but again i didn't like mi phone they ll slow down after 6-7 months of use there ui is full of ads redmi note 3 and 4 was launched 3 years back i guess ..do you see many peoples using that phones????...there battery ll be dead , phones ll be slow and stuck at loading screen...there is many reasons i hate redmi...real me is far better than mi and colors os is well optimized for smooth use and long battery life

No ads for me. All you need to do is turn off recommendations. I am using my phone since 2016. Nothing happened to it. Only my battery drains fast which I think needs replacement. That's why I am getting a new phone.

My dad is only using Redmi 3S because of the battery life and realme is giving me even better backup so now he wants a realme device which i will get for him soon. Color OS isn't my favourite and i'd have preferred stock but whatever they have done is good and icons look a bit ugly for me which needs improvements. You're spot on about the processor being the most important thing mate. My older phone had 4GB RAM but it's of no use since the chipset is old now and can't handle most latest games. What matters is optimization which is why iPhone is still being purchased by many people. RAM matters in a computer a lot more than on a phone. For example i5 8th Gen + 16GB dual channel RAM is anyday better than i7 6th Gen with 16GB single channel RAM. But people assume hey it's i7 so it's got to be better than i5. smh

I don't think optimisation is the reason people are purchasing iPhone. It's more of a porshe statement. Heard windows Phone had good optimisation. Why did it failed?

Yes bro i already say that multiple times that after new update icons are looking ugly and after update phones get little slow but its still far better and smooth than miui ...but still its normal after getting 2.2 gb update it will slow down phones performance a little bit
