Skype has a new feature to announce today, which conveniently coincides with the 10-year anniversary of the original launch of Skype's free video calling service. You will soon be able to participate in group video calls on mobile devices. Plus, you can jump the line and try it early if you act now.

The feature will be coming to Android, iOS, and Windows 10 mobile. When? That part is unclear—just in the coming weeks. Skype has a pre-registration page where you can sign up to try the feature as soon as it's available. You'll get an email when group calls are ready for you to test.

The screenshot above is really all we have to go on with regard to how group calling will work. Most of Skype's announcement post is about the history of the company since video calling launched and how many trillions of minutes people have used Skype. Feel free to check it out if you like reading about incomprehensibly big numbers.
