It's a 50 over tournament... Indian players are not allowed only for t20 /t20 franchise leagues outside India

They are not allowed only for franchise leagues. Championship tournaments they're allowed

Well there are some 20 over championship series as well where Indians can take part, though no one has because of mostly clashes with home season
