It's fair to say that the Indian contingent hasn't had the ideal start to Rio 2016.
After the problems surrounding Narsingh Yadav and Inderjeet Singh, another Indian athlete now appears to have been caught in the doping net.
According to a report in the Times of India, 200m sprinter Dharambir Singh was asked not board the flight to Rio after failing a drugs test.
Dharambir was set to leave on Tuesday morning but did not. The report claimed that he failed a test conducted by National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA).
Interestingly, the 27-year-old is the first Indian male sprinter to qualify for the Olympics in 36 years.
The Haryana lad secured his Rio quota at the Indian Grand Prix in Bengaluru in July.
