London, July 2 (ANI): Twenty-four-year-old leggy Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova believes in setting goals for herself and evolving as the years go by, and is most unlikely to opt for a quiet life after retiring from the game.
"I'm a few years older now and more mature - or at least I hope so. You learn, you grow over the years. You develop as a player but as a person as well. I've gone through many more things in my life and career," the Sun quoted Sharapova, as saying.
"Tennis is a big part of my life but at the end of the day I'm not going to be playing for my whole life. Tennis can only take you to a certain point in your life," she added.
"My parents have been through so much with me. No matter how good or bad the times have been, they've kept me at a certain level. They've taught me so much in life. I want to explore life, there are many other other things in life as well that I'd want to do," Sharapova said.
Sharapova is engaged to basketball star Sasha Vujacic.
