Shahid Afridi, Pakistan's Twenty20
Internationals (T20I) captain, said he
was reconsidering plans to quit the
shortest format as he is facing
pressure from his elder family
members and close friends. Afridi, who
turns 36 next week, had retired from
one-day cricket last year to add to his
departure from the Test arena in 2010.
He was due to retire from all forms of
the game after the T20 WC in India
finishes in April. But Afridi said he may
continue playing.

This decision also coincides with Afridi
signing up to play for Hampshire in this
year's T20 Blast. The all-rounder had
previously played for the south coast
club in 2011, and he reached the final
last season with Northamptonshire.
