Sennheiser Unveils Wireless Headphones and Recording Earbuds at CES 2017...
Sennheiser, the audio company specialising in manufacturing headphones and other products, has launched its new range of headphones at the CES event in Las Vegas. The new headphones include the Sennheiser HD 1 In-Ear Wireless, HD 4.50 Wireless, and HD 4.40 Wireless. The company alongside also unveiled the new Ambeo Smart Surround earbuds with two microphones to record audio.
The new Sennheiser HD 1 In-Ear Wireless features neckband and comes with Bluetooth 4.1, AAC codec support, and Qualcomm aptX compatibility. The device also supports NFC (near field communication) for one touch pairing, an integrated microphone, and is claimed to deliver ten-hour battery life on a single charge. The company touts that the neckband sports stitched sheepskin nappa leather and supports multi-connection with up to 2 devices at once. The device will offer vibration alert for incoming calls and will support fast USB charging offering full charge in 1.5 hour. The new HD 1 In-Ear Wireless headphone is part of the company's Momentum lineup and has been priced at $199.95 (roughly Rs. 13,500). It is expected to go on sale this month.
Sennheiser also expanded its HD 4 headphone series with the launch of the new HD 4.50 Wireless and HD 4.40 Wireless headsets. The new Sennheiser HD 4.50 Wireless headset has been priced at $199.95 while the HD 4.40 Wireless headset has been priced at $149.95 (roughly Rs. 10,200). Both the headphones feature closed-back around-ear headset design. Both come with Bluetooth 4.0 and aptX compatibility to deliver Hi-Fi sound with dynamic bass. Sennheiser HD 4.50 Wireless headset comes with the company's NoiseGard active noise cancellation. Both the headphones support NFC. The new HD 4.50 Wireless headphones can last for up to 19 hours with continuous music playback.
The company also unveiled the Ambeo Smart Surround earbuds for recording audio. Sennheiser is stressing that the new earbuds will offer 3D audio experience and is ideal for VR videos. Unfortunately, no pricing or availability details have been announced so far.
