While "the grandest ever from Samsung" teaser hints at the Galaxy Grand 3 launch in India, a source familiar about the India launch plans of the upcoming Samsung phone confirmed to IBNLive that the company is going to introduce the Galaxy Grand Max in India next week - not the Grand 3.
While the company has not revealed the date of the launch, the source said, the Grand Max is likely to be launched on February 17, Tuesday. There is, however, no information on its price, we expect the phone to be priced under Rs 20,000.
The phone will be exclusively available on e-commerce site Snapdeal.com.
The Galaxy Grand Max has a 5.25-inch display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It runs Android 4.4 and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM.
The phone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It includes an internal storage of 16GB (expandable) and a 2,500mAh battery.
