Samsung India has confirmed a launch on Thursday where the company will be revealing a new smartphone. The company is running campaigns for its upcoming smartphone and seems to be targeting the riders of two-wheelers.
Samsung says that the upcoming smartphone will "change the way users ride" and has also launched a microsite with a countdown to launch. The South Korean company on its social platform is teasing the handset with hashtag "TapKickVroom" and is also running a contest for interested consumers.
The company will be live streaming the event. Samsung India will also give away the new smartphone to three lucky winners who shall be selected through lucky draw during the launch event on Thursday. At this point, there are very limited details about the new Samsung handset,
Earlier on Monday, Samsung India announced the availability of premium 18K Rose Gold and Platinum models of the Gear S2 Classic smartwatch. Both the new smartwatch models have been priced at Rs. 34,900. The South Korean company also revealed a White Gear S2 variant which will be available at Rs. 24,300.
With the new additions, the Samsung Gear S2 will be available in 5 variants in India - Gear S2 Classic Black, Gear S2 Classic Rose Gold, Gear S2 Classic Platinum, Gear S2 Black, and Gear S2 White. Apart from the new models, Samsung also expanded the choice of apps and Dial faces available to the Samsung Gear S2 and Samsung Gear S2 Classic smartwatches.
To recall, Samsung initially launched its Gear S2 smartwatch in India back in January.
