Samsung at an event in Sao Paulo on
Tuesday announced the successor of th
Galaxy Win Duos, the Galaxy Win 2 Duo
with 4G LTE support. The smartphone is
available in the Brazilian market for BRL
729 (approximately Rs. 14,500). Another
model with support for digital TV is price
at BRL 779 (approximately Rs. 15,500).
As yet, there are no further details
available for the Samsung Galaxy Win 2
Duos release to other regions. Brazil
pricing details were sourced via Brazilian
blog Tecmundo. The Samsung India
website hasn't yet listed the smartphone
though it has been listed on the
company's Brazil site.
The Samsung Galaxy Win 2 Duos is a
dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone that
runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-
box. It features a 4.5-inch WVGA
(480x800 pixels) TFT display, which is
slightly smaller than the original Galaxy
Win Duos with 4.7-inch WVGA (480x800
pixels) display.
The Galaxy Win 2 Duos is powered by a
1.2GHz quad-core processor (unknown
capacity) coupled with 1GB of RAM. Apar
from a 2-megapixel front-facing camera,
the smartphone boasts of a 5-megapixel
autofocus rear camera with LED flash.
The 8GB built-in storage on the Galaxy
Win 2 Duos is expandable by microSD
card (up to 64GB). Connectivity options
on the device include 4G LTE, Bluetooth,
Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and Micro-USB.

2 Duos is 2000mAh, just like the Galaxy
Win Duos. The handset measures
131x68.1x8.8 mm and weighs 130g.
