The silly season for the Samsung galaxy S6,
which should release sometime in the first half
of 2014, has started.
There is a rumour doing rounds that Samsung
is working on Project Zero aka starting from
scratch for the Galaxy S6. It is supposed to be
a new beginning for the company which has
seen the sale of its high-end phones plummet
in the last one year.
Samsung has had an interesting history with
naming its important products with alphabets
like Project J (Galaxy S4), Project H (Galaxy
Note 3), Project K (Galaxy S5) and Project T
(Galaxy Note 4). Now it is reported that with
this name Project Zero the company shall build
Galaxy S6 from scratch.
.
Not only the name of the supposed Galaxy S6
project has been leaked, according to a report
by SamMobile we also have the purported
hardware details that will power the mighty
Galaxy S6.
The hardware is said to consist of:
1.QHD (2560Ã?1440 pixels) display
2.Processor - 64-bit Exynos 7420 (Cortex A53
quad-core + Cortex A57 quad-core) chipset
3.64-bit Snapdragon 810 quad-core processor
4.Paired with the same 3GB of RAM
5.IMX240 image sensor similar to the one in
the Galaxy Note 4
6.Decision on 16MegaPixel and 20MegaPixel
cameras is yet to be taken
7.New Selfie Trend - Matching with the current
trend, shall feature a 5MegaPixel front camera
8.Powerful Broadcom BCM4773 chip with
Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi is also on the cards
While there are always chances of changes in
specifications until the official release takes
place, the leak version certainly comes with
applied conditions ..
. These are early
speculations and the original device might just
have something bigger/ better. So stay tuned!
