The Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone will launch on April 11 and land at a variety of U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint and MetroPCS. The phone was first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona on Monday.
The S5 will launch in 150 countries in 16GB and 32GB.
The 5.1-inch device has a 1920 x 1080 HD display with a quad-core 2.8GHz chip and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Other bells and whistles include a fingerprint scanner, a heart rate sensor, a near field communications (NFC) sensor and Bluetooth 4.0.
