New details about Samsung’s yet-to-be-announced Galaxy J7 (2017) have emerged online. The Galaxy J7 was first launched in 2015 and in the following year, Samsung introduced the smartphone, conveniently called Galaxy J7 (2016), with upgrades and new features. For the 2017 edition, it looks like Samsung has a better-looking smartphone in-the-making. In separate reports, the Galaxy J7 (2017) has received Bluetooth certification, and the latest renders hint at a new rear panel design with a metallic strip for the camera and flash module.
Back in October, details including price for the purported Galaxy J7 (2017) had been revealed. The listing on import-export website Zauba revealed a Samsung smartphone with a model number SM-J727V with a price tag of Rs 13,686. The device, which has already received Wi-Fi certification, has now received certification by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG).

Based on the latest video render of the purported smartphone, the Galaxy J7 (2017) is expected to boast similar design as its predecessor but with the exception of a metal strip at the back. In terms of design, the Galaxy J7 (2017) features the volume buttons on the left while the right features the power button. From the renders, it appears the smartphone will be available in two color choices of white and grey.
The Galaxy J7 (2017) is expected to come with more or less the same features as its predecessors except for a possible design upgrade. It is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full HD display. It is powered by an Exynos chipset, paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage.
