Samsung Galaxy J5 and J7 launched in India for Rs 13,990 and Rs 15,990
Samsung launched the 2016 editions of Galaxy J5 and J7 smartphones in India on Monday at Rs 13,990 and Rs 15,990 respectively. The new smartphones will be available on Flipkart from May 10, in Gold, Black and White colours.
Samsung’s new Galaxy J5 and J7 sport metal frames, and are run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with support for 4G (LTE). Both the smartphones have a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, 5-megapixel front-facing cameras with flash and an f/1.9 aperture. They also have the S Bike mode introduced with the Samsung Galaxy J3.
Airtel is offering double mobile data for up to six months, which will allow consumers to get up to 30GB of free data.
While the Samsung Galaxy J5 has a 5.2-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) Super Amoled display and a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, the J7 has a slightly bigger, 5.5-inch display and is powered and Exynos octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
Both the phones have inbuilt storage of 16 GB that’s expandable with a microSD card of up to 128 GB and sport batteries of over 3,000 mAh capacity.
