NEW DELHI: Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal regained top spot in the latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) World rankings released on Thursday.

In the latest rankings, reigning Olympic champion Li Xuerui dropped two places to be at 3rd spot while current World champion Carolina Marin of Spain gained one place to be at second position.
Earlier Saina Nehwal's stay at the top of the table was cut short as she dropped a place to be World No. 2 in the previous BWF rankings released just a week back.

The Olympic bronze-medallist had reached a career best World No. 1 but owing to her loss in the Malaysia Open Super Series Premier semifinals, Saina dropped a position in the list last week.
