In an O'Neills Ulster Shield match between Glendermott and Cliftonville in Ireland, Roy Silva blasted his way to an incredible score of 295 not out. The best thing about this knock was that it came from just 91 balls in a 40-over a side game.

His century came from just from 27 balls, with 248 of his runs comes from hits to the boundary. In total, he hit 11 fours and 34 sixes during his bludgeoning knock. The Sri Lankan’s knock helped Glendermott reach a total of 462/4 in 40 overs at an astounding run rate of 11.55.

Speaking to Sentinel Sport after the match, Silva said: “I’ve played first-class cricket for 13 years and this was my best innings. I’m an aggressive batsman, I don’t care about the fielders and boundaries when I’m in the middle. I just try to clear them.”

The 34-year-old played first class cricket in Sri Lanka for Colombo Cricket Club until last year.
