Ross Taylor completes 4,000 ODI runs

Ross Taylor has become the ninth New Zealand batsman to score 4,000 runs in One-Day Internationals (ODIs). Taylor achieved the milestone during the first ODI against India at Napier.
In recent years, Taylor has been one of the key players for New Zealand in all formats and is by far their best batsman.So far, Taylor has eight tons 24 fifties to his credit. Brendon McCullum, with over 5,000 runs to his name, his the leading run-scorer in the current New Zealand side.
New Zealand’s all-time leading run-scorer is Stephen Fleming, who scored 8,007 runs in 279 matches. Fleming too scored eight ODI tons.
