Robin Uthappa hit an unbeaten triple century for KSCA XI against Jharkhand Cricket Association in the Safi Darashah Trophy four-day tournament here on Thursday.
Uthappa, who was 223 not out overnight, carried his bat to remain undefeated on 307 on the second day of the four-day game at Alur ground. The right-handed batsman hit 29 boundaries and 5 sixes in his superb 358-ball innings. His magnificent treble took KSCA XI to a mammoth 550/5 in 120 overs.
In reply, Jharkhand CA were 124/3 in 41.5 overs when rain brought an early end to the day's play. According to the format of the tournament, the first innings is restricted to 120 overs and second to 60 overs.
