Reliance Lyf smartphones get price
cut by 25%

Reliance has slashed the prices of
its Lyf smartphones by 25%. The company is
also offering a 2-year warranty and free 4G
data for 3 months on Jio network to the
smartphones. As per sources, the handsets
available on discounted prices are Flame 2,
Flame 4 , Flame 5, Flame 6, Water 2 and the
Wind 6.
While the Lyf Flame 4, Flame 5, and Flame 6
now carry a price tag of Rs 2,999, which is Rs
1,000 less than the original price, the Flame 2
is now available for 3,499, a discount of Rs
1,300 on the original price. The Lyf Wind 6 and
Water 2 now cost Rs 5,999 and Rs 9,499
respectively with Rs 500 and Rs 4,000
discounts on the original price.

The budget smartphones can be purchased
from the Reliance Digital Stores or Reliance
approved retail stores. This makes it possible
for users to buy a 4G smartphone with
unlimited 4G data and voice-calling for 3
months, all for Rs 2,999.
Reliance recently launched its Lyf Earth 2
smartphone priced at Rs 21,599. The handset
has a thick aluminium alloy frame and also
incorporates a fingerprint sensor. Like all the
other Lyf series smartphone this one also
offers 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE
support.
Reliance Communications' CDMA customers in
Mumbai, Delhi, Maharashtra and Andhra
Pradesh circles who had agreed to upgrade
their services, can now get the telco's 4G
services under its spectrum sharing agreement
with Reliance Jio Infocomm.
During the initial phase, RCom's 4G will be
rolled out in 12 circles — Mumbai, Delhi,
Kolkata, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh,
Maharashtra, Punjab, UP East and West,
Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar.
