With Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) testing its 4G network during the IIT Mumbai Techfest by running trials of video calls and Jio television service, Indian market will soon see the technology that eliminates the need for recording content.

For visitors to get a feel of the technology, RJIL also deployed Wi-Fi network at select locations in the campus. Through this, visitors could experience the benefit of high speed wireless connectivity for hand-held devices over a blend of LTE and Wi-Fi networks.

Reliance Jio also developed the on-line Health support related applications to create affordable Health-care supported by broadband.

So DTH guys do get ready!!!! something big is coming !!

4K feeds are not that far as we were thinking !!!

I am sending around 1500 on both DTH and broadband connection!!

So if they can give me all the above for around even 1200 per month, even than it will be cheaper with local wifi!! so price is key !!!

Interesting to know no of channels & CPE cost once launched....
If good & cheap then it will be good competition to DTH. IPTV is far lagging in competition...

instead of subscribing for Tv service of reliance

one can easily go for tata sky mobile at rs60 on reliance 4G network

That will require separate subscription to TS DTH. IF R-Jio can provide triple play at attractive price then people might consider switching....
