Reliance Digital has added yet another budget smartphone to its range of 4G-enabled LYF smartphones before the year draws to a close. The smartphone, called LYF Water 3, has been priced at Rs 6,599. The LYF Water 3 is available online exclusively on Flipkart and will come with the Reliance Jio Happy New Year Offer that is valid till March 31, 2017 and offers unlimited voice calls, data, and access to Jio content.
The company currently has smartphones across four categories namely – Earth, Wind, Water, and Flame. At the given price, the LYF Water 3 competes with the Redmi 3S, Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus, and Coolpad Note 3 Lite in the budget segment.
Reliance Digital LYF Water 3 specifications and features
The LYF Water 3 features a 5.5-inch HD display offering 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. At its heart, Qualcomm MSM8939 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5Ghz paired with Adreno A405 3D GPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage that is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
In terms of photography, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash along with a 5-megapixel front snapper for selfies. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 3,000mAh battery which is claimed to offer talktime up of to 6 hours. On the software front, the LYF Water 3 runs the older Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera of f/2.2 aperture. Connectivity options include support for 4G LTE and VoLTE voice calling support, dual hybrid SIM slot, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11n. It is fuelled by a 4,100mAh battery. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS- based MIUI 8.
