Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications has unveiled its first wireless 4G LTE HomePhone in India. The new wireless HomePhone from Reliance Communications comes with built-in SIM and supports 4G alongside VoLTE. The device features a 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The wireless HomePhone will let users connect up to eight Wi-Fi enabled devices thanks to its hotspot functionality.
The new device is now listed on the company's wireless phone page and interested users can register for the device. Unfortunately, the company hasn't revealed the pricing details of the new 4G LTE HomePhone. We have written to Reliance Communications seeking details of the pricing alongside offers and will update the story once we get details.
The company is heavily promoting the new device and touts, "Live life wire-fee and buffer-free with India's first 4G LTE HomePhone." The new HomePhone will also let users stream YouTube to a compatible smart TV.
A report claims that the new wireless HomePhone from Reliance Communication will be available under 299 and 499 fixed wireless phones (FWP) plans. Under the Smart Life 299 plan, users will have to pay a rental of 299 and they will get 300 free minutes (for local, STD and roaming calls), and up to 2GB of 4G data. Under the Smart Life 499 plan, users will pay Rs. 499 and 300 free minutes, and up to 4GB of free 4G data in return.

Cool.,
Jio just only needs to improve the overall service quality. In my place it provides a speed like a 2g connection during the peak hours!! Only using it outside my home..

Jio Wireless Phone

Remember Reliance and more specifically, its Jio telecom sub-division? If you live in India, chances are, you are already familiar with the carrier's enticing 4G offers, which caused quite a stir on the local market, back in September. Despite receiving its fair share of criticism, the company seems to have a pretty good grasp on the needs and desires of the local consumer.

This alone is a good reason to take a look at it's latest offer. It comes in the shape of a more or less traditional, albeit more techy home or business phone. Or what most would consider a landline. However, it is actually a 4G LTE-enabled smartphone, shaped in the all-too-familiar fashion. Reliance's new HomePhone is thus fully capable to connect and take advantage of the carrier's mobile network and also has a 3.5-inch touchscreen and boots Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Shaping quite inexpensive, yet capable and widely available mobile internals into a traditional-looking home phone is nothing new, but might actually be quite well suited for the Indian market. The HomePhone can place HD voice calls, send and receive SMS messages run Android apps, including IM's and can even be used for multimedia consumption. Just like most Android smartphones, the device can also be a Wi-Fi hotspot, serving up to eight devices in close proximity and making it a coll emergency internet backup tool for the home and office.

The 4G LTE HomePhone is offered with Reliance's 4G Smart Life monthly plans. They come with 300 free voice calling minutes, including local, STD and roaming. Beyond that, you will be charged 40 paise per minute. The plans start at INR 299 with 2GB of monthly data and INR 499, with 4GB.
