As I mentioned, this is my 2nd note 4. First one bought 4 months ago (3+32 variant) and gifted to my wife. She is very happy as 2 primary requirements were met. 
1. Absolutely no heating issue.
2. Very long battery back up.
 Also I bought 7 Redmi phones for my colleagues in 4 months. But it's little disturbing that everyone requesting to get them Redmi phones as they were unsuccessful to order. Presently 4 colleagues are in queue for Redmi 4 model (30th sale).
 I'll post detailed pros & cons soon.

Pros:

• 4+64 & VoLTE in 12999, Jio works very well.
• No heating issue.
• Looks beautiful.
• Feeling of 2.5D screen is very new.
• Battery back up excellent, 4000 mAh (mentioned as 4100 in sites).
• Mi dual app & second space.
• Mi Remote (IR Blaster) works very well with my Sony 4K TV & D2h 4K STB.
• Speed is very good.

Cons:

• No Gorilla glass screen. So tempered glass is must. That will ruin the 2.5D feature.
• Little slippery.
• Mi protect (insurance) available if bought at Mi site only.
• No fast charging, takes almost 2.5 hours for full charge.
• Camera is average, but you can't expect more in this price.
• Flash sale is a lottery, it should be available in open sale.
