Rahul Dravid will continue as India A and Under-19 coach for the next two years, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Friday (June 30).

He was first appointed in 2015 and has been instrumental in identifying talents and grooming the young guns. While the Under-19 team managed to reach the final of the ICC Under-19 World Cup last year under his guidance, the India A squad went on to win the Quadrangular series in Australia involving Australia A, South Africa A and National Performance Squad. He has also served as mentor for Rajasthan Royals and played a key role in the rise of talents like Sanju Samson, Karun Nair and Deepak Hooda.
