Lenovo has launched its first A-series tablet, named as Lenovo A7-50, in India at Rs 15,499. Note that in April, Lenovo announced the A7-50 along with three other A-series tablets, namely - A7-30, A8 and A10. The other three tablets are yet to be made available in India.

The Lenovo A7-50 features a 7 inch touchscreen with high definition (1280x800 pixels) resolution. This 9.6 mm thick tablet has the 1.3 GHz Mediatek 8382 quad core processor. It has healthy 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage and a 32 GB micro SD card slot. Currently, it is based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system but Lenovo has assured Android KitKat update for the tablet in future.

The Lenovo A7-50 has two cameras - a 5 megapixel unit in the rear and a 2 megapixel unit in the front. Both the cameras are of fixed focus nature. This tablet also comes with FM radio. This 340 grams weighing tablet has a big 3450 mAh battery.

It comes with a SIM slot and allows 3G access but it is not clear whether it offers voice calling or not. There is Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, and WiFi hotspot facility in India as well.
