Who wouldn’t want to become a real-life
Firestorm? Shooting fireballs from your
wrists is a stuff of dreams, and a
superpower every child would want. Times
however have changed, and a group of
illusionists have turned this stuff of
dreams into reality.
Enter Pyro Mini, a wearable device that
can shoot fireballs up to 40 feet into the
air. Successor to the Pyro, which launched
in 2014, this new device is more compact
than before and lets you throw up to two
fireballs at a time. Unlike before, the
device can now be recharged via a
standard micro-USB port, and is good
enough to last for up to 600 shots on a
single charge.
Pyro Mini relies on flash paper, which is a
highly flammable substance and one that is
used by most illusionists. One needs to
only pack in enough flash paper and
cotton into the wearable, and then shoot
fireballs at a press of a button. The
wearable also turns into a wireless remote
and lets you activate fireballs from a
distance of up to 30 feet.
Pyro mini is available to order
from Ellusionist and it costs $147 or Rs
9,700 approximately.
