Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta is helping a drought-hit village in Maharashtra

While the Bombay High Court decides the fate of IPL matches to be played in this season in Maharashtra, actress and co-owner of Kings XI Punjab Preity Zinta is helping a drought affected village in Nashik.

The Kal Ho Na Ho actress took to Instagram to post a small video of her charity work in Nirhale-Phattepur, Nasik.

Preity funded the digging of a new well in the village along with providing water to the village via water tankers.

She also donated so that food supplies could be organised for the villagers and also providing them with solar powered lights.

Preity is back in India for the first time after her wedding with LA-based Gene Goodenough, to support her IPL team and finish other work commitments.
