Pragyan Ojha, the left-arm spinner, was rushed to the hospital after he was hit on the back of his head in the ongoing Duleep Trophy game between India Green and India Blue at the Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground on Wednesday (September 7). He, however, is said to be in a stable condition now.
The slow left-arm orthodox bowler, took a blow to the back of his head while fielding for India Green at mid on. India Blue's lower-order batsman, Pankaj Singh, cracked a slog towards mid on off Shreyas Gopal and the ball bounced awkwardly to hit Ojha. He immediately fell to the ground as the players surrounded him.
Ojha was stretchered off the field in a semi-conscious state. WV Raman, the India Green head coach, assisted him to the hospital. The Hyderabad player underwent a CT scan at a nearby hospital.
The board's sources stated that Ojha spoke inside the ambulance and now is in a stable condition. "He is going through the scans and MRIs and looking stable." Latest and breaking Cricket News - Cricbuzz | Cricbuzz.com
