Seeking Help Porting into new Jio sim demands Prime membership extra charges scam

Just today I ported into a new Jio sim through JIO store but the guy there charged me 299 base plan + 99 extra calling that Rs. 99 amount as JIO PRIME MEMBERSHIP. Is this some new JIO scam? Even calling to the customer care number, they told me exact same thing. However I've asked the JIO store to present me with a bill indicating that amount by tomorrow since that store was about to get closed at my time of visit. NEED HELP regarding this

Recently, I also ported to Jio 25 days ago. But didn't charged anything extra. Just paid ₹349.
I ported through their online portal.

For me as well they charged Rs.99 when ported to Jio years before.

That I know but why on porting? Nothing of sorts is mentioned in the linked article. Is there any terms and conditions regarding porting to jio and charged Prime membership extra?

Did some delivery guy visited you? or the entire process was online? because afaik some delivery guy will visit and then the rest of process is handled.

Bhari mistake hogaya. Anyways these babon jio store guys will get a taste of their medicine tomorrow for sure, already lodged a complaint on cpengrams

Entire process is online bro. I took esim. So no need of delivery guy. Even if you take physical sim, all process will be online. The delivery guy only will deliver you the physical sim.

Update: Filed an online complaint on cpengrams portal and yesterday as expected got credited back that 99/- prime extra charges with an apology call later on. It was surely an unforgettable experience ALSO BEWARE WHO ARE PORTING BACK INTO JIO, the Jio Store people are scamming left and right.
