Popslate has launched its second E ink iPhone case called Popslate 2. The iphone case, which is 0.16-inches thin, acts as a second screen for notifications and has a built-in battery. Users can read e-books, make lists and customise news feed for Popslate 2. All of these notifications will appear on the case, at the back of your iPhone.
The case is available for iPhone 6 and above models. Popslate 2 has a 5-inch screen that also acts as an e-reader and has an integrated battery pack. Popslate 2 features single point smart charge that can be used to charge both the case and iPhone at the same time.
Popslate 2 provides an extra 9 hours talk time to iPhone. In fact, users can save more on power by offloading activities to the second screen as it requires fewer unlocks.
Dashboards can be customised to make it more useful. Popslate 2 shows news feed, including sports scores, stocks and breaking news from various sources.
With Popslate 2, users can keep their tickets, boarding passes etc ready. It easy to create to-do list or grocery list and then then check them off, right from the back of your phone. Users can customise images and select them from photo library or click one. Popslate 2 can be used to read e-books, periodicals etc right from the back of iPhone.
Popslate 2 for iPhone 6 Plus and 6S Plus is listed at $129 (Rs approx). It ships in October and is available for pre-order. Popslate 2 for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S is currently not available.
