Guys, which online streaming app is felt comfortable for you? Hoping your votes and comments. Please don't give more importance to the contents in the app since it is related to its television channels being from different genres and are not uniform at all(for eg. Sony is only in north as Sun is only in south). Give priority for UI, Graphics, Data Consumption, ability in live streaming, speed of uploading, Picture quality, other extra features, payment, overall experience etc. while voting. Streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon prime etc are excluded since they are independent and international.

If Amazon & Netflix are out then Hota tar bcoz of streaming experience and placing of section and sub section.

Hotstar, the video, specially the live ones can be streamed almost 90% of the times

Although hotstar sucks because of its awful ui and excessive bandwidth consumption. It's still better than the likes of Voot who makes you wait for 24 hours for new episodes.

You will probably be the only one with that opinion

Both hotstar's app and website are terrible. There is no play next button to binge watch. No subtitles in offline mode. It doesn't even remember the last position of a movie or a series across devices. And try streaming a movie in 720p which is available on both Netflix and Hotstar. You'll see the huge difference in bandwidth consumption. Hotstar survives on its content to get customers.

hotstar's ui is terrible compared to prime video or Netflix...the content is not catogerized properly and bandwidth consumption is too much compared to other players the only reason most premium users joining are either for hbo content or for sports
