Police arrests man for allegedly raping his daughter

Contractor Pinto Singh has been taken into custody for allegdly raping his 17-year-old daughter in Bangalore.

The girl, from his first marriage was allegedly kept in confinement for three months. The girl has now been sent for a medical examination

Bangalore Police DCP Sandeep Patil said, "They are from Bihar. In the initial period of four months, he physically harrassed the victim. On the basis of it, we have filed an FIR and have arrested the accused on Wednesday."

A few days ago, the police arrested a suspected serial child rapist. The police said the repeat offender has kidnapped at least 16 school going girls in the last two months and in many cases, has abused them before letting them go.
