Pokemon Go developer Niantic Inc has released an update to the wildly popular app. The update brings some visual enhancements and new features. Rolled out on both Android and iOS platforms, it adds new customisation options to avatars, fix for the much-hated 'three-step glitch', refined gym animations and more.

With the update, Niantic claims to have solved the 'three-step glitch' issue, which showed nearby Pokemon at maximum distance, from its root.

The 'battle damage' feature too has been improved with the new Pokemon Go version.
One of the biggest improvements is the ability to customise the avatar in the game at any point of time. Previously, the option only showed up while starting the game. The customisation option can be found under the 'Profile' menu in the new version.

In the light of the reports of accidents that some players have met while playing Pokemon Go, Niantic has added some small warnings at the start of every session asking gamers not to trespass, drive, or enter dangerous areas.

"Do not enter dangerous areas while playing Pokemon Go," goes one. "Remember to be alert at all times. Stay aware of your surroundings," is another one.

There is also a floating button at the bottom-corner for each Pokemon with the options 'Favourite' and 'Transfer'. Some of the other improvements include modified battle damage calculation, bug fixes during wild Pokemon encounter, and updated achievement medal images.

The update to the Pokemon Go app is available via app stores on both iOS and Google Play. Users can also download and install the apk files.

Recently, a Pokemon Go player in the US claimed that it has caught all the Pokemon available in the US. Brooklyn-based Nick Johnson, as per his Reddit post, has captured all the 142 Pokemons that are available in the country. The image posted on Reddit shows his 'Pokedex' section inside the app showing both 'Seen' and 'Caught' 142 Pokemons.
