I have activated the 3 months free subscription offer from Vodafone Play and here are some snaps from the app and some random TV channels.. it must be noted that none of the Star channels are available on the app.. and most of the channels are powered by Ditto TV..

Another thing to note that it will require you to switch on data only once during initial login/subscription. After that, it can also run on Wifi network

Yes you can.. i also use VF 3G only.. and infact you need VF data only for first time to activate.. after that you can use wifi too to use the service..

just download Vodafone play app from Google play store.
Then activate through Vodafone sim only for the first time.
Then afterwards enjoy through any network , wi fi
